Updated my payroll to receive income as 80% BTC : 20% USD. Tested BitRefill to purchase a DoorDash gift card with ⚡️. Conversion efficiency and ease of use was beyond my expectation. Spoke to my partner about using gift cards to set monthly budgets for common expenses: Whole Foods, Amazon, and DoorDash. She was surprisingly positive.

Ate dinner with an old friend. He snuck to waiter to pay the bill so I couldn’t. I had him download BlueWallet to teach him about LN⚡️, then showed him how to make an invoice (for the bill total). Then, I quickly paid the invoice before he caught on.

Now he has to figure out how to spend the⚡️sats. 😈
