Useful heat update: ~5,000 sats/day and my feet are nice and toasty in my office.
My folks are in town, so I explained to the boomers how blockchain technology works.
Mom is not completely BTC naive. She and I went to the Bitcoin conference in San Jose in 2013. I think we were the only mother/son combo in attendance; whatever, mom is cool 🤘
I pulled out my XVerse app showed her how much the ecosystem has developed since 2013. She was surprised to learn you could earn ~10% APY in BTC from stacking STX. PoX bitches! I could see her interest was piqued, but I shut it down. Too many structural changes planned at stacks in 2023 to be investing serious money in the system at this point, though. Tomorrow I will help her to setup a multisig cold wallet and stack some sats; the USD money printer is going to be running full blast until the economy goes boom; BTC is the safest money there is.
